Green Day @ MSG 07/28/2009

So on Tuesday, my two friends and I rode the train into New York City. Right before we left, our friends dad told us "Everyone steps it up in the Garden.", and he wasn't kidding. I never been on a train before til that day. I must say double decker's are the way to go. You also always find the most unusual characters on a train, from all walks of life. Business people to the regular drifters. But anyway we arrive into New York at a sold out fuckin show.

The intensity level was jammed packed. Billy Joe really knows how to entertain a crowd. For three hours non stop Green Day put their heart and soul out. I saw them years a go while in high school and they were amazing then. They played so much of they're old shit it was great! They even played The Who, but no one knew the words really. Billy Joe laughed then "That's probably the last time we'll do that."

All in all it was great fuckin show. So great we almost missed the last train out of NY. I got to catch up with some old friends and listen to some kick ass music.
